Deshi Ghee Soan Papdi , also known as Ghee Patisa or Ghee Soan Halwa, is a variation of the traditional Soan Papdi sweet delicacy that is made using desi ghee (clarified butter) as a key ingredient. The base mixture is made by combining flour, desi ghee, and sometimes semolina or chickpea flour. This mixture is cooked on low heat until it reaches a light golden color and forms a crumbly texture. The sugar syrup is then poured over the cooked mixture, and the mixture is quickly folded and pressed into thin layers. Deshi Ghee Soan Papdi adds a distinct rich and aromatic flavor to the sweet. It enhances the texture and imparts a smoothness to the Soan Papdi.
